Surprising Restaurant-Like Real Estate Office

How does closing the deal on your dream home over a glass of sparkling wine sound? Located with convenient transport links and a prime spot next to a brand-new shopping center, this real estate office offers just that experience.

Cozy Atmosphere, Seamless Service

Together with our client, we created a concept where homebuyers can explore the details of their future apartment in a relaxed, living room–style atmosphere. We approached real estate from a completely new angle by combining a bar with a real estate office.

The client, real estate agent Heidi Luumi, envisioned a space that feels restaurant-like — dark, elegant, yet welcoming. The Amerikka design team immediately embraced the idea and switched into creative mode to deliver an impressive and functional result.

Purposeful Space

The design challenge was to fit all the desired functions into a little over 100 square meters of retail space. The global situation at the time also brought its own challenges in terms of material availability and scheduling.

We paid special attention to how the space would be seen in its surroundings. The signage design for both the façade and interior was crafted to support the visibility, character, and functionality of the premises.

In this project, the collaboration between the property owner, construction consultant, and lead designer worked exceptionally well. This smooth cooperation enabled the project to progress with quality from the very beginning.

Sustainability Goals

The entire Länsituuli hybrid building – combining a shopping center with modern urban living – has been awarded the LEED Gold environmental certification. In the design of the commercial space, particular attention was paid to surface materials with EPD classifications, favoring options that support healthy indoor air. Water fixtures were also chosen with flow restrictors to reduce water consumption.
